BOGOLANFINI is an art form from Mali, West Africa.

Rich organic mud is applied to cloth with a wooden implement.
The cloth is left to dry for at least 24 hours and then the mud is rinsed out.
The process is repeated up to 8 times to obtain shading and depth of color.
